The second National Public Lecture Tour took place across the country from 18-22 March 2019.
The theme for the 2019 Tour, Applying the latest dementia care research, explored dementia care and how the latest research can help people living with dementia live longer, and well, at home and in their local community. The Tour provided an opportunity for people living with dementia, their carers and families, as well as researchers, to learn from leading experts about improved dementia care across multiple settings.
Following the keynote presentation and panel discussion, attendees discussed the presented research and identified practical and helpful strategies to improve care for people living with dementia.
